Air Zoom G.T Cut 2 – ‘Avant-Garden’ Nike

Part of the ‘Avant Garden’ storytelling, the styling of this G.T. range is a celebration of experimentation and unusual ideas. 

The next evolution of The Greater Than (G.T.) Series that began in 2021 is here. The redesigned Air Zoom G.T. Cut 2 is created for players who create and close space in an instant to keep defenders off balance.

Key to the shoe is an all-new, advanced traction design. It features a rubber compound arranged in an intense wiper-blade pattern with deep tread grooves. When the player applies force with each step, the grooves separate and then snap back upon release, helping the player dig into the court to cut with quickness. A second zone of nubbed traction is spread up the forefoot.

• The upper is inspired by a butterfly with an inner cage that’s built into the lining underneath. It helps reduce the weight of the shoe to help you take off in an instant.
• As you’re hitting that sharp cut, the smear traction helps you briefly stick to the ground while the other directional traction helps you dig your toe in and toe out of it. The hollow herringbone pattern helps you stop quicker.
• Lacing directly through the medial and lateral webbing loops adds forefoot support.
• Visible breathability in the lightweight upper provides a comfortable fit.
• Stiff clip around the heel helps lock your foot in over the cushioning.
• React foam in the insole adds responsive comfort.
• Molded tongue extends to the toe area and expands for comfort.
